Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico<\/strong>\u00a0(PUPR) is a private, non-profit, coeducational, nonsectarian institution founded in 1966. It offered only the technical courses in Land Surveying and Mapping until 1974, when PUPR became a degree granting institution and started offering two baccalaureate degrees.
