class='widget-content'>&nbsp;\n<h1>Tuition And Fees Schedule<\/h1>\n<div class=\"toggle\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"toggleTitle acco_plus\">Tuition and Fees<\/div>\n<div class=\"hide_accordian\" style=\"display: none;\">\n\nThe following schedule of tuition and fees applies to students of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. Academic Year consists of three consecutive academic periods called terms from August to July\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico reserves the right to revise policies, tuition fees and other costs.<\/p>\n<a class=\"blue-button\" href=\"https:\/\/pupr.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Registration-Cost-FY-2027-rev-Mar-17-2026-SJ.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Registration Costs FY 2026-2027 <i class=\"fa fa-file-alt\"><\/i>\n<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n<h1>Payment<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Every student must pay the total cost of tuition and fees during the registration process. They are responsible for the total cost of tuition, even if they do not attend classes, their scholarship and\/or sponsorship is cancelled, or if a withdrawal is requested.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"toggle\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"toggleTitle acco_plus\">Read more<\/div>\n<div class=\"hide_accordian\">\n\nThe University grants the privilege to defer 50% of the total cost to students who choose not to pay in full. Deferred payments are due thirty (30) days after the beginning of the term and involve an additional cost.\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The validation process of registration is not completed until the student has paid the total cost or the 50% of tuition and fees. The validation process of registration can be through Polytechnic University portal <a href=\"http:\/\/mypoly.pupr.edu\">mypoly.pupr.edu<\/a> or in person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The student is responsible for verifying and keeping track of enrollment, add\/drops and defer payments dates, and taking the necessary steps to comply with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students who have requested financial aid or Veteran benefits must consult either the Financial Aid Office or the Institution\u2019s Veterans Representative located in the Registrar\u2019s Office prior to the completion of the registration process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students receiving sponsor\u2019s benefits should contact the Bursar\u2019s Office and submit relevant evidence to determine the corresponding registration cost according to the benefits received.<\/p>\nPayments of tuition and fees can be made:\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through Polytechnic University\u2019s portal <a href=\"http:\/\/mypoly.pupr.edu\">mypoly.pupr.edu<\/a> (online service), students can make payments through Banco Popular\u2019s ATH, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and personal checks for previous balance and new term.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In person: in cash, money order, manager\u2019s checks, certified or personal checks; checks should be made payable to: Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico or PUPR (return checks will incur in additional charges and the student lose the privilege of using this payment method). In addition, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards, and debit cards are accepted. Students can also make payments on outstanding balances through Telepago Popular of Banco Popular.<\/p>\nPolytechnic University of Puerto Rico does not issue credit and\/or debit card refunds. If the student pays with a credit\/debit card and for some reason a reimbursement is required, the Institution will issue a check under the student\u2019s name.\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico reserves the right to revise policies, tuition fees and other costs.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<h1>Refund Policies<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Bursar\u2019s Office is responsible for complying with the refund policy established by the Institution. These policies take into consideration institutional and current federal regulations. Tuition and fees due from previous terms of study must be paid in full, prior to the student registering for the current trimester.\n2. After the defer date (30 days after the beginning of the term), any outstanding balance will be subject to 2% monthly interest.\n3. After 180 days, outstanding balances will be subject to an additional collection fee if the University refers these to legal divisions or collection agencies.\n3. If PUPR is obliged to take legal action for the collection of this debt, the student will be responsible for costs, disbursements and other fees incurred in the collection, as determined by the corresponding Court.4. Debtors will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance, San Juan Municipal Division.\n5. Debtor students may be excluded from graduation ceremonies. The University may also withhold grades, issuance of transcripts, degrees, diplomas, certificates of good standing or other official documents to any student whose account is in arrears.\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inactive students may be granted a Payment Plan to pay-off their outstanding balances. This agreement with Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico is held in association with United Credit Bureau. If students fail to comply with the payment plan, they may be referred to legal divisions or collection agencies. Students referred to a legal division or collection agency will be charged additional fees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">** <strong>Sponsored Students are also governed by the policies mentioned above, even if the outstanding balance belongs to the Sponsor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2332\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Financial Aid Services<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2332\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2332\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><div class='widget-content'><h1>Financial Aid<\/h1><p>The University participates in the following student financial aid programs:<\/p><p>\u2013 Federal Pell Grant.<br \/>\u2013 Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG).<br \/>\u2013 Federal Work Study Program (FWSP).<br \/>\u2013 Institutional Work Study Program (IWSP).<br \/>\u2013 Federal Family Education Loan Program (Stafford Loan).<br \/>\u2013 State Grants and Scholarships.<br \/>\u2013 Institutional Scholarships.<\/p><p><a class=\"gray-button\" href=\"https:\/\/pupr.edu\/es\/services\/financial-aid\/\" target=\"_self\"><br \/>Visit our Financial Aid website <i class=\"fa fa-dollar\"><\/i><br \/><\/a><\/p><h1>\u00a0<\/h1><h1>Eligibility Requirements<\/h1><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To be eligible to receive aid, a student must meet the following requirements: Be enrolled as a regular student in an eligible program. Be a U.S. citizen or eligible alien. Make satisfactory academic progress. Have a high school diploma, or its equivalent.
