todos!!<\/p><p>Estamos en un momento crucial para la historia de la humanidad. Momentos como este permiten cambios y adaptaciones en los seres humanos para superar con \u00e9xito los retos que nos presenta el mundo. Vivimos una sociedad tecnol\u00f3gica donde el 5G, la automatizaci\u00f3n industrial, la remotizaci\u00f3n del trabajo y la ense\u00f1anza son los nuevos pilares de la sociedad a nivel acad\u00e9mico. En la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Puerto Rico nos hemos ido adaptando a la nueva realidad de cara a las necesidades sociales y tecnol\u00f3gicas desde hace ya alg\u00fan tiempo. Al inicio de este a\u00f1o 2020, nos vimos en la necesidad de acelerar, por causas naturales, nuestros servicios en forma remota, los cuales ya ten\u00edamos avanzados debido a la visi\u00f3n institucional y corroborada por la realidad vivida en el 2017 (Hurac\u00e1n Mar\u00eda).<\/p><p>Las necesidades actuales requieren, a\u00fan m\u00e1s que antes, mejores preparaciones acad\u00e9micas del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica y de Computadoras y Ciencias de Computadoras para atemperar la realidad tecnol\u00f3gica mundial. \u00c1reas como telecomunicaciones modernizadas, servicios remotos, seguridad cibern\u00e9tica, virtualizaci\u00f3n de negocios, sistemas de potencia con generaci\u00f3n eco amigable, entre otras.<\/p><p>Nuestra visi\u00f3n atiende todas y cada una de estas \u00e1reas de ingenier\u00eda y ciencias de c\u00f3mputo, permitiendo al estudiante una capacitaci\u00f3n de cara a las necesidades actuales. Nuestros estudiantes y egresados demuestran con su aceptaci\u00f3n en agencias como NSA, NASA, FBI, Homeland Security, Boeing, agencias locales gubernamentales, y muchas empresas privadas en Puerto Rico y los Estados Unidos. Electrical Engineering is one of the disciplines supporting the development and operation of this key infrastructure. It has evolved from the study of fundamental electrical principles to encompass sophisticated communication and computation techniques.<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pupr.edu\/es\/computer-engineering\/\">Computer Engineering<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>Computer Engineering is a rapidly changing field that covers a wide range of topics concerned with the design, implementation and programming of computers and digital systems. Computer engineers develop integrated hardware and software systems and apply these to the creative solution of problems in government and business. These solutions are key enablers to our economic development and social welfare. A sample of the range of solutions created by Computer Engineers include: industrial and military control systems, database management systems, health care information systems, networked systems, end-user embedded computer controlled products, and computer-aided design tools to automate and leverage human performance in many other disciplines.<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pupr.edu\/es\/computer-science\/\">Computer Science<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>Today, the field of computer science is one of the most popular academic disciplines in universities across the nation. Computer Scientists build computer-aided design tools, manage information technology enterprises, build business information systems (including banking and automotive systems), build healthcare information systems, design and support networks such as wide area networks and cellular telephony, and design end-user embedded computer-controlled products and systems such as smart cards and vision recognition systems.<\/p><p><strong>Associate Degree of Engineering in Software Development<\/strong><\/p><p>Computer Software Development is a rapidly changing field that spans a wide range of topics concerned with the design, implementation, and programming of computers and digital systems.
