The Educational Technology Center (ETC) constitutes the academic computing center. It offers the following services:
– Provides computer services to the student body and faculty to assist them in the performance of their academic endeavors and projects.
– Provides training to the Faculty and administrative personnel on computer use.
– Offers seminars to students about specific software.
Offers computer services to the different academic departments as requested.
The ETC is organized in six areas:
– Engineering Graphics Laboratory- Laboratory for computer assisted design.
– AutoCAD Laboratory for multiple purposes and the use of the latest versions of AutoCAD.
– Main Computer Area – Laboratory for all the latest Engineering Applications.
– Computer Classroom for the different engineering courses.
– Training Room- Classroom for the training of students, Faculty and administration.
– Internet Room- Continuous access to Internet by students. All computers are connected through Ethernet wire scheme using Novell NetWare. The Center provides the latest technology in the industry today.
