Harvard’s Landscape Architecture Department visits our MLA Program

October 2-6, 2023: Harvard University’s Landscape Architecture Department visits our MLA Program with Prof. Craig Douglas and 12 students from their MLA design course: The Island of Enchantment. We held a collaborative symposium of 9 expert speakers on Rio Piedras rivershed System. We also held site visits throughout Puerto Rico pertaining the Río Piedras watershed system, El Portal at El Yunque, Old San Juan’s Fortaleza UNESCO gardens, and Fajardo’s bioluminescent bay. It was an amazing academic experience for both Poli and Harvard students who developed site analysis pertinent to the Río Piedras watershed system.
