The School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University promotes a dynamic environment where critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership are the basis of an education which will provide students the tools and experience necessary to develop a passion for knowledge for the rest of their lives, this ensuring they have an excellent opportunity to be successful in whatever they choose to do.
The design studio, by its own multidisciplinary nature, emphasizes communication, collaboration, and the safety of all its components. The school expects the students, faculty, administrative staff, and support personnel to contribute and facilitate the development of our students. We believe that optimism, respect for each other, sharing of goals, innovation, and bonding are values that must be always present in a successful studio culture policy.
As the main basis of the development of a healthy studio culture, ARQPOLI proposes a curriculum centered on the early insertion of the students in the principles and concepts of architecture as a profession. We encourage that the studio stimulate debate, criticism between equals, sharing of knowledge by all and interaction with other professions and outside communities.
