100% Tax Deductible
The Polytechnic University is a private nonprofit institution covered under section 1101.01 of the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code.
All contributions paid by: (1) a Puerto Rico resident, (2) a non-resident US citizen, or (3) a corporation doing business in Puerto Rico are deductible from their Puerto Rico income tax return. In the case of individuals, the tax-deductible contribution may not exceed 50% of their adjusted gross income, and in the case of corporations, the tax-deductible contribution may not exceed 10% of their net taxable income, without taking into account the deduction of their contribution. All contributions paid in excess of the allowed limit may be carried over to the next 5 years.

Founded in 1966, the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (PUPR) is a nonprofit private institution for specialized education in Engineering, Land Surveying and Geomatic Science, Administration and Entrepreneurship, Architecture, Landscaping Architecture, and Education. With an annual enrollment of over 4,000 students, PUPR is the biggest Hispanic-serving private institution in the US specializing in engineering and architecture. PUPR is accredited by Puerto Rico Board of Postsecondary Education; Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (ABET) and National Architectural Accrediting Board
