Dr. María G. Véaz Morales

Vice President for Innovation in Retention, Persistence, and Student Success

Welcome to your CASA

At the Vice Presidency for Innovation in Retention, Persistence, and Student Success, we are dedicated to walking alongside you throughout your academic journey—supporting your growth, inspiring your motivation, and celebrating your achievements every step of the way toward graduation.

As part of this commitment, we created the Center for Academic Support and Advising (C.A.S.A.), a space designed to empower you in both your personal and professional development. At C.A.S.A., you are supported by a multidisciplinary team—including academic advisors, counselors, a social worker, faculty advisors, student advisors, tutors, and other members of our university community—all united in helping you thrive and reach your full potential.

Aligned with our institution’s mission, vision, and values, our efforts are further strengthened through the SABER Tutoring Program and the Student Support Services (SSS) programs. Together, these initiatives provide the tools, guidance, and encouragement you need to stay focused, overcome challenges, and succeed in your academic and professional journey.

We encourage you to embrace these opportunities, stay actively engaged, and believe in your ability to achieve your goals. You are not alone on this path—we are here to support you as you grow, succeed, and turn your aspirations into reality.
