Welcome to the Mathematical and Engineering Success Center (MESC) located on the third floor of the central building, M-306 of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
We are a center founded by Tittle V under the U.S. department of Education. Our goal is to empower our students to learn, adapt and overcome all obstacles in their math and engineering education while at the same time instilling the core fundamental study habits needed throughout their professional development.
Our center is equipped with twelve computers filled with different learning tools, from learning modules, quizzes or online lessons. We are also staffed with various tutors specializing in the different mathematical fields available to attend to you on personal or group requirements, tailored to your specific needs. The math topics most often covered are the following, but not limited to:
MATH 0102 Preparatory math / Matemática Preparatoria
MATH 0106 Elementary Algebra / Álgebra Elemental
MATH 0110 Intermediate Algebra / Álgebra Intermedia
MATH 1330 Pre-Calculus 1 / Pre-Cálculo 1
MATH 1340 Pre-Calculus 2 / Pre-Cálculo 2

We are open on weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 9:00am to 3:00pm on Fridays. We are flexible to special needs students or those with conflicting hours.
