Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting computer systems, networks, programs, and data from cyberattacks and unauthorized access. It involves using various methods, processes, tools, and behaviors to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. The Undergraduate Certificate is composed of five courses related to Business English Communication, Data Structure, Database Systems, Ethical Hacking, and Computer Forensics.
The microcredential in Cybersecurity Foundations provides comprehensive training in key areas of cybersecurity through four specialized courses: Computer Forensics, Ethical Hacking, Network Security, and Reverse Engineering. Students will develop the skills to protect information systems, respond to incidents, and mitigate cyber risks in real-world environments.
This program delivers both technical knowledge and hands-on experience in network security, digital forensics, cryptography, incident management, and cybersecurity law and ethics. It is designed to prepare students to address the current challenges of protecting critical infrastructures and preventing cyberattacks.
